Congratulations to Maureen Bisognano, CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, for being named by Modern Healthcare as one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare in 2011.I happened to be at IHI today when her staff presented this celebratory cake, complete with a copy of the magazine's cover with her portrait as a decoration. In her usual modest fashion, Maureen attributed her recognition to the excellent work done by all of the people at IHI.
