How do you determine a price for a item on craigslist for sale?

  • If it is new you have to just compete with it is original price to make it so someone would want it from you rather than the original place that it is from. That could be something like taking off 20% for starters from the original price. That is about where I start.
  • The price you quote will need to be what you feel the item will sell for sometimes it helps to go to Goodwill etc. and see what they are selling a like item for, you can't get much more than that from your sale
